Refresh your memory on how you would handle different emergencies, what a thorough takeoff briefing should include, and how you can ensure you're safe and prepared for an emergency at any time. Â We practice engine failures in cruise during training but there are so many other emergencies. Â What would you do if you had a fire while starting the engine? Â What is your decision altitude after take-off to turn? Â Is that based on the conditions of the day? Â How often do you review your emergency procedures? Â
