This course will cover the different types of VFR navigation pilots need to be familiar with in order to safely navigate anywhere we decide to go with emphasis on dead reckoning. This class is perfect for the pilot who has yet to plan a cross country trip or someone who has some dust over using E6B.

A through understanding of navigation and its planning is essential to a safe flight. With technology advancements and many flight planning software that does all the work for you, we may forget some of  the basics of what it takes to actually flight plan or if your new to flight planning this class will help you grasp and learn the many things that can go into building a complete flight plan. At the end of the class you will understand the difference between magnetic variation and magnetic deviation as well as building knowledge of VFR Navigation.
